7:1

主耶和华指示我一件事：为王割菜（或作：草）之后，菜又发生；刚发生的时候，主造蝗虫。
|

|
Thus the Lord Jehovah showed me: and, behold, he formed locusts in the beginning of the shooting up of the latter growth; and, lo, it was the latter growth after the king`s mowings.
|
|
7:2
|
蝗虫吃尽那地的青物，我就说：「主耶和华啊，求你赦免；因为雅各微弱，他怎能站立得住呢？」
|
|
|
And it came to pass that, when they made an end of eating the grass of the land, then I said, O Lord Jehovah, forgive, I beseech thee: how shall Jacob stand? for he is small.
|
|
7:3
|
耶和华就后悔说：「这灾可以免了。」
|
|
|
Jehovah repented concerning this: It shall not be, saith Jehovah.
|
|
7:4
|
主耶和华又指示我一件事：他命火来惩罚以色列，火就吞灭深渊，险些将地烧灭。
|
|
|
Thus the Lord Jehovah showed me: and, behold, the Lord Jehovah called to content by fire; and it devoured the great deep, and would have eaten up the land.
|

7:5
|
我就说：「主耶和华啊，求你止息；因为雅各微弱，他怎能站立得住呢？」
|
|
|
Then said I, O Lord Jehovah, cease, I beseech thee: how shall Jacob stand? for he is small.
|
|
7:6
|
耶和华就后悔说：「这灾也可免了。」
|
|
|
Jehovah repented concerning this: this also shall not be, saith the Lord Jehovah.
|
|
7:7
|
他又指示我一件事：有一道墙是按准绳建筑的，主手拿准绳站在其上。
|
|
|
Thus he showed me: and, behold, the Lord stood beside a wall made by a plumb-line, with a plumb-line in his hand.
|
|
7:8
|
耶和华对我说：「阿摩司啊，你看见什么？」我说：「看见准绳。」主说：「我要吊起准绳在我民以色列中，我必不再宽恕他们。
|
|
|
And Jehovah said unto me, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A plumb-line. Then said the Lord, Behold, I will set a plumb-line in the midst of my people Israel; I will not again pass by them any more;
|
|
7:9
|
以撒的邱坛必然凄凉，以色列的圣所必然荒废。我必兴起，用刀攻击耶罗波安的家。」
|
|
|
and the high places of Isaac shall be desolate, and the sanctuaries of Israel shall be laid waste; and I will rise against the house of Jeroboam with the sword.
|
|
7:10
|
伯特利的祭司亚玛谢打发人到以色列王耶罗波安那里，说：「阿摩司在以色列家中图谋背叛你；他所说的一切话，这国担当不起；
|
|
|
Then Amaziah the priest of Beth-el sent to Jeroboam king of Israel, saying, Amos hath conspired against thee in the midst of the house of Israel: the land is not able to bear all his words.
|
|
7:11
|
因为阿摩司如此说：『耶罗波安必被刀杀，以色列民定被掳去离开本地。』」
|
|
|
For thus Amos saith, Jeroboam shall die by the sword, and Israel shall surely be led away captive out of his land.
|
|
7:12
|
亚玛谢又对阿摩司说：「你这先见哪，要逃往犹大地去，在那里糊口，在那里说预言，
|
|
|
Also Amaziah said unto Amos, O thou seer, go, flee thou away into the land of Judah, and there eat bread, and prophesy there:
|
|
7:13
|
却不要在伯特利再说预言；因为这里有王的圣所，有王的宫殿。」
|
|
|
but prophesy not again any more at Beth-el; for it is the king`s sanctuary, and it is a royal house.
|
|
7:14
|
阿摩司对亚玛谢说：「我原不是先知，也不是先知的门徒（原文作儿子）。我是牧人，又是修理桑树的。
|
|
|
Then answered Amos, and said to Amaziah, I was no prophet, neither was I a prophet`s son; but I was a herdsman, and a dresser of sycomore-trees:
|

7:15
|
耶和华选召我，使我不跟从羊群，对我说：『你去向我民以色列说预言。』
|
|
|
and Jehovah took me from following the flock, and Jehovah said unto me, Go, prophesy unto my people Israel.
|
|
7:16
|
亚玛谢啊，现在你要听耶和华的话。你说：『不要向以色列说预言，也不要向以撒家滴下预言。』
|
|
|
Now therefore hear thou the word of Jehovah: Thou sayest, Prophesy not against Israel, and drop not [thy word] against the house of Isaac;
|
|
7:17
|
所以耶和华如此说：『你的妻子必在城中作妓女，你的儿女必倒在刀下；你的地必有人用绳子量了分取，你自己必死在污秽之地。以色列民定被掳去离开本地。』」
|
|
|
therefore thus saith Jehovah: Thy wife shall be a harlot in the city, and thy sons and thy daughters shall fall by the sword, and thy land shall be divided by line; and thou thyself shalt die in a land that is unclean, and Israel shall surely be led away captive out of his land.
|
